Katharine Wright, U.S. educator

(1874 - 1929)

Full name: Katharine Wright Haskell. She traveled to Europe with her brothers Orville and Wilbur, and became something of their representative since they were shy. Although she’s sometimes given credit for being more involved in their experiments with heavier-than-air than she was, she always denied it.
