Alana Kainz

  • My number one purpose for the Internet is e-mail because I exchange notes with very learned people in areas I'm interested in. Once you find those people they become sources for life. I find when you make a phone call there's a 50 percent chance it will come back but when you send e-mail for some reason it's like you're on a level playing field and everyone sends messages back. It's a different culture. You're never put on hold. The answers are always relevant. There's no chat; no small talk.
